Two former Buckeyes head to Kelly Cup Finals with Cincinnati Cyclones

Former Buckeye defensemen Devon Krogh and Chris Reed, now with the ECHL's Cincinnati Cyclones, are set to take on the Alaska Aces in the Kelly Cup Finals beginning tomorrow.


Over four years with the Buckeyes, Krogh accumulated 41 points (8 goals, 33 assists) in 129 games. He has a +2 in six playoff games with Cincinnati.


Reed had 38 points (4 goals, 34 assists) in 150 games with OSU. The 2009-2010 CCHA Scholar-Athlete of the Year has contributed seven assists and is a +12 through 18 playoff games.


The former Ohio State blueliner also had the assist on the series-clinching overtime goal over Greenville on Tuesday to send the Cyclones to the finals.
